MONTHLY WORKSHOP
ART OF LINOCUT
This is a most relaxing and therapeutic workshop if you are a patient person.
We will draw your simple subject on the lino and with a set of tools, we will dig into the lino, leaving only the lines of your drawing at surface level. That is what takes a bit of patience and care, but then, with a roller, we will apply some ink and print, with the back of a spoon.
This is when the fun start. You can print as many as you like and after drying, we will paint them.
So rewarding! So, if you are interested, please let me know before the 20th. I will require a small extra fee of €8.50 for the purchase of material (blades & lino). We will have a welcoming cup of coffee at 10am, and start our work at 10.30am. Hopefully, you will have the “digging” done by lunch time and we will print and paint in the afternoon. Very exciting day ahead!
